Shahzad completed his undergraduate degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering at the University of Western Ontario. His industry experience comes from working in a variety of consulting and full-time positions. Shahzad started out his career in Software Testing as an intern tester at the National Center of Audiology before launching his career in IT with various Consulting jobs in diverse industries, including but not limited to Financial, Automotive, Insurance, Pharmaceutical, Fare Payment, and Telecommunications. Currently Shahzad focuses on Automation and Performance Testing.

Anthoney Pavelich – Instructor

Anthoney PavelichAnthoney Pavelich has experience in a variety of industries including aerospace, government, energy, supply chain and retail. He has practiced in traditional and Agile project management. Anthoney has not only worked with companies to introduce project management methodologies, but also created forms and processes to follow based on the need of the organization. His educational experience include a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration on Project Management and maintaining his PMP designation. His volunteer service in the PMI Southern Ontario Chapter includes working with aspiring project managers to teach organized PMP Prep course, helping organize library assets in the PMI database, and working with non-profits to complete project pro bono. He currently uses his skills to teach both Project Management and Business Analysis at Sheridan College.

Jawad HyderOver the past 20 years, Jawad has worked in various industries, including food, pharmaceutical, retail, banking, IT, software, real estate, energy, gas, manufacturing, engineering, logistic, supply chain, education, and the list goes on… Jawad is always full of energy (even without coffee intake) and has always been a strong coach and an effective speaker.

Jawad is a leader in driving cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives through all levels and various disciplines of the organization. He is a product of the Canadian educational system. As an immigrant, Jawad has good understanding of the skills required to be successful in this competitive market. Jawad has acquired an engineering degree from the University of Toronto and an MBA in Strategy and Operations from the Schulich School of Business. Additionally, Jawad is a licensed Professional Engineer and a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Jawad is married with two kids and lives in Mississauga.

Jason Little – Instructor

Jason LittleJason has a diploma in Electronic Engineering from DeVry and a certificate of Organizational Change from MIT Emeritus School of Management, as well as various professional certifications including MCP, CSM, CSP and CSPO.
Jason began his career as a web developer when Cold Fusion roamed the earth before moving into management, agile coaching and consulting. The bumps and bruises collected along the way brought him to the realization that helping organizations adopt Agile practices was less about the practices, and all about change. Since the mid-2000’s he’s worked with small and large organizations as an internal and external agile coach, product owner, scrum master and more.
In 2008 he attended an experiential learning conference about how people experience change and since then, he’s been writing, and speaking all over the world about helping organizations discover more effective practices for managing work and people. In 2012 he published Agile Transformation: A Guide to Organizational Change through Pearson Education, and in 2014 he published Lean Change Management which is a book about how to apply lean and agile practices to organizational change. He’s an award winning international speaker who has spoken all over the world including Canada, the US, Australia, and throughout Europe.

Chistie Christelis – Instructor

Chistie ChristelisChristie is the founder and President of Technology Strategies International Inc., a company that empowers clients to navigate the stormy seas of disruption. An engineer by background, Christie was engaged in systems development in the aerospace sector in his early career, which quickly led to project management and program management roles. He was co-founder of a systems engineering company where he spent many years conducting project management, business analysis and operations research assignments. Today he advises companies on technology strategy based on a solid foundation of business research and analysis. He has lectured in the areas of mathematics, electrical machines, business strategy, project management and business analysis. He is currently a part time lecturer in project management and business analysis at Sheridan. Christie has an undergraduate degree in electronics, a graduate diploma in engineering, and a Master’s Degree in Business Leadership.

My name is Les Macumber and I have many years’ experience as an IT professional and consultant. I’m currently head of operations and finance at an enterprise SaaS company. I have worked all over the world for various clients in my day as a Director, Project Manager, Business Analyst, QA Lead, Product Owner, Auditor, Compliance Manager, and much more. I love how the software industry can expose you to some many different industries in so many places!

I have many years’ experience as an educator and have developed and taught college and professional development courses at various institutions and privately for companies and professional organizations. I have taught courses in many modes, including face-to-face, online, and blended. I am also the author and editor of a number of textbooks, books, and academic papers.

My name is Fernando Salas and I have many years of experience as a Business Intelligence, Finance, Marketing and Supply Chain executive in the Telecommunications industry. I have worked in Canada and various parts of the world (Europe, Central and South America) in many functions within this industry, including Commercial Intelligence, Revenue Assurance and Customer Acquisition and Retention.

I have a degree in Business Administration and dual Masters in Business Administration (specialized in operations and strategy) and an Masters of Science in Management of Information Systems. I am a member of the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals.
