Ovais is a results-oriented Business and IT professional with several years of progressive experience. He has worked in Agile and Waterfall SDLC environments. In his past engagements, Ovais has helped organizations transition to agile methodologies and establish best practices for business analysis, business case development, vendor selection, solution assessment and validation and project selection and management. His most recent project focuses on the planning and development of a Business Analysis Center of Excellence (B.A.C.O.E).
Sandee is a self-employed consultant for business analysis and project management, practicing for over 30 year , as well as teaching at several colleges. When she isn’t in the classroom, you can find her outside sailing or kayaking.
Phil Robitaille is a business and systems professional with over 20 years of project experience across the systems development lifecycle. Phil has a particular emphasis in Information Management working with stakeholders in the discovery of performance improvements in knowledge domains and document-intensive processes. He has consulted in the public sector to federal and provincial agencies, standards development organizations, a UN civil aviation agency and more recently, Sheridan College. Phil has also conducted business analysis in the private sector with an aircraft engine manufacturer, regulated energy utilities and numerous multinational pharmaceuticals.
Jim Cassell has over 30 years of support delivery operations experience with Hewlett-Packard, including business plan performance, project management and business analysis engagements. Currently Jim is working with Emterra in business development, engaged in managing clients, rewards program management and business analysis. Jim has worked with many other clients including the City of Brampton as an IT Consultant focusing on their Help Desk, On-Site, Print Strategy and Internal Metrics.
Al Martin is the Founder and Consulting Lead at Owl Information Management Services, an organization focused on “Turning Data into Opportunities” through Business Analytics. Al has over 25 years of experience providing information technology solutions across a whole range of organizations. Throughout his entire career, he has applied Business Analysis, Project Management and technical skills to provide value to the organizations engaging his services.
Bilal Iqbal is the President of LeanSense Solutions, a consulting firm specializing in operational excellence. He has 7 years of dedicated experience in project management, continuous improvement and organizational change, preceded by several years of technical IT involvement. This experience spans across several industries including finance, insurance and telecommunication. Currently, Bilal works as an organizational change coach and helps companies adopt the right set of tools to fit their project management and continuous improvement needs. These engagements require him to work with all layers of the organization to ensure alignment and successful transformation.
Maria Amuchastegui is an IT consultant specializing in business analysis. She has industry experience in government, healthcare, telecommunications, banking and financial services. In addition to CBAP certification from the IIBA, Maria is certified in agile software development methodologies, having obtained the CSM (Certified Scrum Master) certification from the Scrum Alliance, and in software testing, having obtained the CTFL qualification from the ISTQB. He is also the Executive Vice President at Fortress Technology Planners, a leading Canadian IT solution provider. He has over 20 years of experience in the technology and business fields. His extensive consulting experience has allowed Jonathan to perform business analysis for small, medium, and large companies. This experience includes engagements in the distribution, finance, consumer packaged goods, oil and gas, facilities, food, and service industries.
