IIBA releases Agile Extension to the BABOK® Guide

Now business analysis practitioners have a set of practices, tools and techniques they can use when working in any agile environment.

Developed in collaboration with the Agile Alliance, the Agile Extension to the BABOK® Guide provides guidance on the effective practice of business analysis in an agile context. Agile business analysis is about increasing the delivery of business value to the stakeholders of the project or product being developed.

The Agile Extension to the BABOK® Guide provides seven key guidelines for the practice of business analysis within an agile environment. These guidelines are supported by a Discovery Framework and a Delivery Framework that articulate specific techniques, proven to be successful for agile teams in delivering value. It is aligned to A Guide to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge® (BABOK®Guide) and covers all aspects of agile business analysis
