We will discuss and compare the most important modelling techniques used by BAs. We will see the history of models used during the past 60 years. For each model, we will answer three questions: what reality does it represent? what questions does it answer? and what notation does it use?
A discussion about how to use models, and the strengths and weaknesses of each type of model, will equip the participants to select the right model for each situation.
