Jason has a diploma in Electronic Engineering from DeVry and a certificate of Organizational Change from MIT Emeritus School of Management, as well as various professional certifications including MCP, CSM, CSP and CSPO.
Jason began his career as a web developer when Cold Fusion roamed the earth before moving into management, agile coaching and consulting. The bumps and bruises collected along the way brought him to the realization that helping organizations adopt Agile practices was less about the practices, and all about change. Since the mid-2000’s he’s worked with small and large organizations as an internal and external agile coach, product owner, scrum master and more.
In 2008 he attended an experiential learning conference about how people experience change and since then, he’s been writing, and speaking all over the world about helping organizations discover more effective practices for managing work and people. In 2012 he published Agile Transformation: A Guide to Organizational Change through Pearson Education, and in 2014 he published Lean Change Management which is a book about how to apply lean and agile practices to organizational change. He’s an award winning international speaker who has spoken all over the world including Canada, the US, Australia, and throughout Europe.
Jason blogs frequently on LinkedIn Pulse, www.agilecoach.ca and www.leanchange.org.
